Rotary Club of Colombo West organized “INTERFAITH “for Peace and Conflict Resolution.
It was the first project organized for the Rotary Year which brought blessings to President Kapila
Mohotti and RI 3220 District Governor Pubudu De Zoysa.
Blessings were invoked by Sri Murugan Temple – Kew Road , Akbar Jumma Masjid – Kew Road,
Infants Jesus Church – Colombo 2 and The Ganagaramaya Temple – Colombo 2
Amongst the invitees were, H.E Gopal Baglay – Indian High commissioner, Dr. Rewant Vikram
Singh – Director Swamy Vivekananda Cultural Centre along with Members of Colombo West.
“Water for Life “
A donation of Rs. 44,000 was donated to Dr. Rewant Vikram Singh of the Swamy Vivekananda
Cultural Centre by RCCW President Kapila Mohotti.
As PP Janka Edirisinghe celebrated his birthday on the same day, Colombo West members together
with the American Alumni Association gave breakfast for 175 people at St Anthony’s Church,
Colombo 3.
