Rotary Club of Colombo West in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Hamamtsu South – Japan (Rotary Districts 3220 and 2620) together with the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka organized an event on 24th January 2024 at the Ministry of Health to hand over critical care equipment worth Rs. 35 million to the Emergency Treatment Unit of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka. Rotary International’s President 2023/24 R. Gordon R. Mclnally, H.E.Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, District and club officials of both Rotary Club of Hamamatsu, Japan and RCCW, Sri Lanka and Medical Officers were also present.
These donations will be used to improve the health services in Sri Lanka and the National Hospital. This project was made possible by Global grants #2454912 from Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
